Using our Plugin Installer app (recommended):
  1. Download and open the Full Access Plugin Installer
  2. Select "Ultimate Bundle Install" from the bottom menu
  3. Drag all 5 category ZIP files onto the app
  4. Click "Install The Ultimate Bundle" - done!
The app automatically places everything in the correct folders.

  2. Select "Individual Plugin Install" from the bottom menu

  3. The app will scan your system and show any issues

Common Issues

Running into a problem? These are the issues we see most often - and how to fix them.

This means you are running an out of date version of Final Cut Pro - or at least a version older than our plugins. We recommend always running the latest version to guarantee compatibility.

Apple releases updates for Final Cut Pro several times a year and it's not always obvious when they do, so it's easy to be on an old version without realising.
Mac too old to update? Use our FCP Backdater app - a desktop app that forces compatibility between newer plugins and older versions of Final Cut Pro.
Easiest fix: Use our free Plugin Installer app - select "Folder Setup" and it will create all required folders automatically.

Manual fix: You can create the folders yourself. Make sure:
  1. All folder names are spelled correctly: Titles, Effects, Transitions, Generators and Compositions
  2. Each folder name starts with a capital letter (e.g. "Effects")
  3. Each folder has the .localized extension - including the "Motion Templates" folder itself
Please follow this tutorial which explains the manual process.
This usually means the plugins weren't installed to the correct location, or your "Motion Templates" folder isn't set up correctly.

Quick fix: Use our Plugin Installer app to:
  1. Run "Folder Setup" to check and fix your folder structure
  2. Reinstall your plugins using the appropriate installer tab
After installing, restart Final Cut Pro to see your new plugins.
If you're seeing a red error screen and are unable to update Final Cut Pro past a certain version, you can use our FCP Backdater app - a powerful desktop app that forces compatibility between newer plugins and older versions of Final Cut Pro.
