Canon EOS R5: 8K Not Cropped?

There's nothing more annoying than a client asking you to film in 4K, or 6K, or even 8K and the only camera you have at your disposal for that resolution crops at higher resolutions, messing with your focal ranges and pixel density. 

Well, that's not a problem for prospective owners of the new Canon EOS R5. Canon's unreleased flagship mirrorless that threatens to dethrone Sony as king of the mirrorless revolution. A leaked image of the new body (supposedly set to be announced in the next week) suggests that full-frame 8K recording will be possible INTERNALLY with the camera.

We're excited for this camera and just hope it lives up to expectations.
